Senior Backend Developer

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java with Spring Boot Framework and Microservices.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for frontend integration.
Work with Angular frontend team to ensure smooth data flow.
Manage and optimize databases eg. Postgres.
Manage code repositories using GitLab.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
4+ years of experience in backend development using Java, Spring Boot framework and Microservices.
Experience with Docker.
Experience with Postgres database.
Experience with Postman.
Strong understanding of GitLab for version control.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills.

Desirable:
Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is desirable.
Angular/ React/ Node JS knowledge will be an added advantage.
Experience with AWS services like EC2, S3 etc.
