We are seeking a skilled Developer with 3-4 years of experience specializing in API development and system integration. The ideal candidate will have expertise in API development using technologies like Node.js or PHP, along with experience in either frontend development (React.js, Next.js, or Angular) or backend development (Node.js). This role will involve working on integration projects, developing and maintaining APIs, and either building scalable frontend applications or robust backend services.

Key Responsibilities:

• API Development: Design, develop, and maintain GraphQL, RESTful and SOAP APIs using Node.js, PHP, or similar technologies.
• Integration: Work with integration gateways (e.g., Kong, AWS API Gateway) and middleware (e.g., Jitterbit, Workato, MuleSoft, Apache Camel) to connect various systems and ensure seamless data flow.
• Frontend or Backend Development:
  • Frontend: Develop responsive, user-friendly web applications using React.js, Next.js, or Angular, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Backend: Build and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, integrating with frontend applications and other systems.
• Middleware & Platforms: Familiar with using integration middleware and platforms like Jitterbit, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or TIBCO to automate workflows and ensure system interoperability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, project managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Testing & Debugging: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of APIs and applications to ensure they meet quality standards and performance benchmarks.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs, integration processes, and application development guidelines.
• Optimization: Continuously optimize and refactor existing codebases to improve performance, security, and scalability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on API development and system integration.
• Proficiency in Node.js and PHP for API development.
• Experience with integration gateways (e.g., Kong, AWS API Gateway) and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, TIBCO, Apache Camel).
• Expertise in either frontend development (React.js, Next.js, or Angular) or backend development (Node.js).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Solid understanding of GraphQL, RESTful and SOAP API design principles.
• Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with architecture design and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices.
• Understanding of security best practices in API development and integration.
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.
